My therapeutic approach intertwines evidence-based practices such as, The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy with a systemic perspective. Additional modalities with which I work include, Attachment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and more. I recognize how society, community, family, age, gender, ethnic/racial heritage, acculturation, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, disability, and religious/spiritual traditions can influence values and worldviews. Therefore, I bring a broad theoretical perspective to working with individuals and couples.
