Anxiety Across the Lifespan – Healing and Growth

Under pressure, beauty emerges—like a geode, we uncover strength through healing and growth

Anxiety is a multifaceted experience that affects individuals across different stages of life and in diverse ways. It can stem from deeply rooted trauma, manifest within the dynamics of couple relationships, or arise in high-pressure environments like sports and performance settings. Though the sources may vary, the impact of anxiety on our sense of self, well-being, and daily functioning is profound—and so is the potential for healing and growth.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples to address anxiety in its many forms. For those navigating anxiety due to trauma, I provide a safe and compassionate space to explore its origins, process emotional pain, and build resilience. In relationships, I help couples understand how anxiety influences attachment patterns and communication, fostering stronger, healthier connections. For athletes and performers, I work to unravel the pressures of high stakes, enhancing confidence and focus while reducing performance anxiety.

My Therapeutic Approach

By integrating evidence-based practices with a systemic perspective, I tailor my work to address the unique challenges faced by each individual or couple.

My approach draws from a diverse range of theories and modalities, including Family Systems Therapy, Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused approaches for relational dynamics and attachment. I also utilize Cognitive  Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Somatic techniques, Intergenerational Trauma work, and Complex Trauma Reprocessing methods, as well as Experiential, Strategic, Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Strength-Based therapies.

Incorporating Multiculturalism and Existential perspectives, I recognize the intersectionality of societal, community, and familial influences. These include factors such as age, gender, ethnic and racial heritage, acculturation, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, disability, and religious or spiritual traditions.
